What we Do:

Our evaluation team is composed of research assistants, statisticians, qualitative and quantitative researchers, psychologists, and sociologists. As an eclectic team, we are able to assess various projects from an array of perspectives. As a result, we leave no stone unturned. CORE often collaborates with local organizations and schools. We examine and promote the best practices and evidence based interventions. To achieve these goals, we provide an array of services:

  • Scientific literature searches and reviews
  • Empirical research
  • Evaluation plans
  • Survey design
  • Interviews (phone or in person)
  • Focus groups
  • Observation
  • Data collection
  • Data analysis
  • Written reports for different audiences
  • Logical model development
  • Grant writing

What the Process Is:

Interested parties meet with a member from CORE to complete a Needs Assessment, which helps determine what services are needed to best reach our client’s goal. Each evaluation project is catered for our clientele. Clients are then provided with a Scope of Work, which outlines services, costs, and anticipated timeline.

Sample of Current and Previous Evaluation Topics:

  • School culture
  • Student’s career exploration and awareness
  • Prevention programs
  • Health and wellness
  • Truancy and at-risk behavior
  • Sense of belonging in school and community
  • Effects of character education on young children’s empathy and pro-social skills
